EXTENDED ESSAY

Research Question: "How has development in technology affected the art of video games made by Nintendo?"

The reason I chose to focus on such a research question is because it intrigued me; I enjoy playing video games and want to know how technology has made an impact on their art. I also specified it as Nintendo because it is my favourite video game company and I have more knowledge about them compared to other companies. 

My research area, however, will be focusing on the art and design industry and how it's been affected by technological advances and the reflections of these affections on the video game art industry.

For the execution part of the essay I plan to:

1. Analyse all my resources and take out the relevant bits
2. Scan more databases (ex: EBSCO) for more academic articles on my topic (this will be ongoing throughout the entirety of the process)
3. Scan and analyse visual sources from video games made by Nintendo
4. Start on the first draft of the extended essay
5. After gathering more sources and finishing my first draft, go over the draft once more and add more information if necessarry
